"This is a gastro pub so expect no culinary wizardry. We had two burgers and one fish and chips dish.... The fish and chips were just ok , the batter of the cod could and should have been lighter and crisper. Fries were ok. I can 't comment on the hamburgers of my daughter and wife but they were by and large satisfied. Wine order seems to be an issue you can order wine by the glass but no one will be able to tell you the vintage or grower of the wine.... we ordered a 'bottle ' and the only one available was a small 50cl one Viognier 'from the area ' . ok. Service was quite slow.... the table where we were seated , just next to the entrance, should actually be eliminated, as it is right next to a dispenser for hand sanitizer...."
