"My friend and I ordered the Walleye. I had good memories of a "Walleye" dish last year. It DID NOT live up to expectations. When we complained that we did not like the sauce, the very vinegarry zucchini, the pickles, the server told us they'd changed the recipe and we got what we'd ordered. It didn't explain the amount of vinegar in the zucchini. My friend ordered bread (to help sop up the vinegar and sauce) and was charged an extra dollar for it. With a $26 order, I'd expect MUCH, MUCH more (in quality quantity of both food and service).I'd like to recommend this restaurant but find I just CAN'T, I'm afraid."

"I ordered out from cheese toast on 22nd at Westgate Plaza and I found a lady to be very helpful and fair because I live on 300 block Avenue exit which is only two and a half blocks away and she told me if I came to pick it up I can get a free 2-liter Pepsi and also save 10% so I found it very nice of them over there to tell me this information and also the food was very good and tasty!!! I'll give it 7\10"

"I've gone past this place so often - finally decided to pop in after reading some reviews. The server was quirky and funny (I think the owner's daughter?). I had the perogies, and they were some of the best I've ever had (including my own home-made). Prices are very reasonable. good location for parking and/or bus stop. Will try to go there again before I leave Canada."

"Very clean. Tables was like stickers upside down, with the sticky side up. If you can’t read don’t worry, lick the menu and you can taste what they have to offer. Kitchen was just as clean. Who wants to do dishes anyways, just rinse and your good to go. Frankly if it was an option to mark 0 stars I would. Farthest thing from a restaurant. I recommend the perogies…only 3 of the 6 had fillings, and elderly parents approved with the lack of spice and salt. Don’t need to worry about getting heart burn. The best part was when the waitress added her special spice at the table, by picking her nose over a drink. Our kids backwash water was more safe to drink. Also real name for the restaurant is Aunty Maria. Would only recommend this place to my worst enemy."
