"We were visiting Geelong for the weekend from Brisvegas and happened on Pete's during an online search for dinner. Being a blues and New Orleans fan I had to check it out. We were not disappointed. Great and authentic and tasty food (we had the jambalaya, fried shrimp and cajun fries not super cheap but very generous servings we even needed a doggy bag container for our left overs) in an intimate little space right in the heart of town plus an excellent live band and a good drinks selection. A true local gem an authentic slice of the Big Easy in Australia's South. What more could you ask for except maybe a branch in Queeensland some time!"

"What can I say? An unassuming little burger restaurant in the heart of Geelong city. Fantastic service.......you get greeted warmly each visit. Great music to listen to. Indoor and sidewalk dining options. Licensed! Then there are the insane burgers. I am told they use grass...fed beef and make the patties onsite. The burgers I have eaten there are full of flavour. And......the chips! They are amazing. Rosemary salt is used, which I adore. I haven't tried to cheesy bacon ones, but have seen them. They look amazing. I witnessed a random act of kindness when I was in there recently.....the young man behind the counter helped out some customers who were struggling it seemed. Just a low key nice touch I thought."

"Management, please change your listing to the Waterfront Cafe Novotel Geelong. I am sure that many browsers are confused with the café and the bar, which also knows (in the venue) as seafood and grill on the water. Grief

"Maybe the worst food I've ever had in my life, the prosciutto pizza saw on the menu with mozzarella, basil and fresh prosciutto,
I literally could not even take a bite without giving
The worst, I felt like I had to finish because it was so ridiculous across,
I swallowed my disgusting pizza and had a terrible taste for the rest of the day and
I still can try it
