"I went here to get a birthday together and was surprised that it was big. You can't really say it from outside. It was late night and maybe near the closing hour. The dining area was already packed, but the bar section jumped. Still many people enjoy the music and drink. Beverages are in the expensive side, but strong, making you worth your money. The atmosphere faded with talc and laughter. I'd say this is a must to see for yourself and have a good time."

"Yesterday's Sunday brunch was wonderful. The steak and eggs were great, served withpotatoes and whole grain bread. The coffee was excellent.Service was attentive and friendly. The tables in the garden made a great place forconversation amid greenery."

"Excellent food and service! I had scallops, they were perfectly cooked and served on top of light fluffy butternut squash ravioli. My husband had filet and short ribs; so tender you could cut them with a fork! We also had dessert which was equally as fabulous!We had a table in the front which was great for people watching. Highly recommend!!!"

"Great vibe, amazing atmosphere, companied with delicious food. The reason is at the roof of the Refinery hotel. It?s super packed during lunch hours, reservation is highly recommended. They have some tables inside, bit most of the dinning area is under the sun, with a open glass roof. The main attraction of the rooftop is Empire State Building. The restaurant is beautifully decorated, with a nice bar in the middle, basking under the sun. They have a short menu, but stillvaries dishes between appetizers, entree and salads. We got lobster roll, fish tacos and their new item, lollipop lamb chops. All the items were to the mark. Fish taco was filled with several toppings and spicy mayo, giving it so muchflavor and taste. Lamb lollipops were 3 pieces, all cooked to perfect temperature. Through out the dinner we had marvelous service, everyone at the restaurant is super friendly."

"The Old Homestead has all the extravagance you would expect from a steakhouse without the attitude. Very casual laid-back setting with impeccable five star service. The restaurant was packed, and I did not feel like we waited long for our meals to arrive, the appetizers were outstanding, and the steak was beyond… Luis our server was a gentleman and we even hung around after closing and spoke to Carol the manager for quite some time… It has a very neighborhood warm welcoming feel to it… I had lived in and around the neighborhood throughout my life and had always wanted to go and so glad I finally did! Definitely does not disappoint"
