"Venue was surprisingly quiet in the week before Christmas with only a handful of tables taken, although that may have been due to the train strike. We had all three sharing platters and the food was very good and ideal for an informal, relaxed lunch with friends Service was excellent, with the waiter having a sense of humour which didn't stray into being inappropriate Only disappointment was that a service charge was automatically added to the bill and the waiter also asked if we wanted to add a tip as well. We chose not to but felt a bit uncomfortable doing that in front of the waiter (even though we felt it was cheeky to ask in the first plaace!"
