"We took advantage of the early seating menu to get a feel for the place. It was a good value for the money. The serving sizes are on the small side and the food was average. Our server Cecelia was the best part of our experience. We were seated at a table in the bar area and I am assuming that was because we were there for the early service. It was quite noisy once people started funnelling in. There is a room in the back of the establishment that seems much quieter but I don't think will be back to affirm that"

"Max's was fantastic. It was my first time there and its amazingly convenient that they have free Valet parking! The food was delicious, me and my group had a variety of things, between the Shrimp and Grits, the Filet Mignon, Truffle Mac and Cheese, Short ribs, and seared scallops. We also had multiple choices of the hors d'oeuvres, the Poutine was phenomenal and I know my friends loved the Charcuterie Board, especially the in house made Jam. It was super good! I wish it was jarred and sold. Over all it was a great experience and the staff was wonderful, we definitely plan on returning."

"The perfect setting for my birthday I started my champagne toast and escargot the experience was great that the escargot was a little on the hard side. my bf had the thunfischtar who was delicious. for the main court I had healed this and just in time because they ran away immediately. it was delicious and to finish the meal, which is better than chocolate mousse. I wondered why we haven't been here yet. it was a great culinary experience. a French pinot noir rounded out the experience. best meal!"

"Such a beautiful place! Absolutely loved the decor and ambience. The chicken Shawarma was phenomenal. I have never had chicken that moist and juicy before. I also loved the deconstructed crab Rangoon. That was such a clever idea, and it was absolutely delicious. I wasn’t a huge fan of the dumplings as they were a little dry for my liking but that was just my honest opinion. I probably would’ve enjoyed it with a little more sauce to dip it into, but overall I loved this place, and the next time I make it back down to Evansville, I will definitely be stopping by again!"

"A cozy neighborhood-y place with a true French Bistro feel. Voila! Bistro is the go-to when a craving for true French food. Pro-tip: wait for the list of the day's specials before making your entre decision. I haven't had a bad dish on the menu BUT the specials have been fantastic! Recommendation: . French Onion Soup . Whatever is the Daily Special . PROFITEROLES (picture it: warm cream Puffs housing scoops of vanilla ice cream) drizzled w/ DIVINE chocolate sauce. (It's like liquid brownie)"
