"We stopped in for a quick bite to eat-brisket sandwich, berry Danish and Brazilian cheese puffs. The brisket sandwich was one of the best sandwiches we've had in NZ. Brisket was tender and flavorful, filled with fresh veggies and avocado and the bread was fresh and buttery. The berry Danish was incredible and the cheese puffs were fun to eat."

"I had the bagel breakfast here and I'd say it's one of the best I've had. Packed full of flavor and expertly presented. Only thing I would say for improvement is to have serrated knives available to cut it easier. Otherwise, that and coffee is top of the line."

"So glad we were recommended this place from Billy's (down the road) as they had a power cut. Tongue Groove was warm and cosy with really friendly staff. They serve big portions for a decent price. I had salmon eggs bene which was stacked like a tower and included a hash brown (my pic is after I took it apart), they were so generous with the salmon. Partner had the hot cakes and French toast which were lovely as well. Would go back without hesitation."

"Went there by chance on Sunday, had never been before or heard of this place so had zero expectationsService was excellent and so was the food. I had the 'Pages hash brown ' and there was a poached egg inside fantastic! loved it, would definitely be back. My partner got the Spicy Chai latte and its the best he 's had this year."

"We went here for breakfast, and it was actually really good. Had bacon and eggs with a hash brown. Generous serving size. The hash browns are the flat type (not the compressed slab type), and they were made just right. The coffee was good too. It’s got that American diner vibe, but with a Kiwi touch. The staff seemed a bit over it, but I probably would be too!"
