"Our first visit to Alfred’s. We tried the Country Benedict and the Southwest Hash. Both meals had amble portions and were full of flavor. Getting a table was a bit confusing at first and parking was limited. We will be back!"

"I ordered a big breakfast combo which was SOS over biscuits, 2 eggs over easy, bacon, sausage, and ham. I ate most of it. I thought the bacon was the best, and the ham was good too, the Sos wasn 't the best but it 's not the worst. I was going to go to wafflestop across the street but I didn 't want to wait. I got in right away at Knapp 's."

"Okay, I admit that my rating is a little different. I have a 19-month, a 12-week puppy, a dog cat and a woman. So I'm not coming for a pint at a local bar anymore. But they have really good dinner specials. I'm not one for fried gizzards, but the fried seafood board for $17 dollars feeds two or a hungry teenager. Cod, mussel strips prawns and the choice of sides and get a bowl of mussel chowder for $5 more. I also had good burgers and who doesn't like chicken and Jo's. Besides, I order pickup and let me wait for a pint as I wait for my order, so a victory for this dad. So local history and a good business with a budget"

"Ate here yesterday for the first time. The waitresses are friendly but not all up in your face so that’s totally cool, they only take cash or checks but they have an atm on site, luckily I had enough cash so I couldn’t tell you how much the fee is. So let’s get to the good part. The food! Large portions! And I mean LARGE! My husband and I split the two egg chicken fried steak with harsh browns and toast, the chicken fried steak was drowning in their homemade rich and creamy sausage gravy, the harsh browns were piping hot and crispy on the outside! They never let out coffee get below the halfway mark before making their rounds to top it off, gotta love that! Every meal I saw on other peoples tables looked amazing as well! We’ll definitely be back!"
