"FAZIT:Nettes Café für den Kaffee und Kuchen am Nachmittag, ist aber nichts Besonderes.Lage:Mitten im Zentrum von Köln-Porz auf einer Fußgänger-Brücke gelegen. Nette Plätze draußen und neben dem Café. Service:relativ langsam, vergisst auch schon mal was (sogar das kassieren)Essen:Naja, am Kaffee kann man nicht so viel verkehrt machen und der Kuchen schmeckte wie zugekauft, eher 08-15."

"Good chicken soup, very good pork knuckle meat, very good schnitzel. Eat your dessert elsewhere , desserts are not their field. Good professional and attentive service. No parking problems. In the evening, parking on the little street next to the restaurant is free."

"Weinhaus Vogel was a great tavern my twin brother Stephen and chanced upon as we were wandering around this part of town and what a great find. Walking in and I knew I would enjoy my visit here,a traditional authentic German look,wood panelled walls, exposed...brickwork, theres an eye catching serving bar and some nice decorative features such as the huge wine barrels built into the walls,theres also plenty of seating options spread throughout this tavern, it's a great place to unwind in. We were here on a Thursday afternoon, a passing Köbe deposited two Gaffel Kölsch beers on our table and as is the norm in this part of Germany marked our beer mat with two pencil ticks to indicate how many beers we had drunk, we just chilled out and took in the great tavern we were in. I really enjoy Gaffel Kölsch beer, it's such a light,hoppy and unpretentious lager style beer bursting with taste,very easy to drink,a beer style both myself and my twin brother Stephen are particularly fond of. We really enjoyed our beers in here and the great vibe so much so that we ended up staying for another beer each before we moved on and for a first time visit we were totally impressed with this tavern. Weinhaus Vogel is easy to locate along Eigelstein . Opening hours are; Monday to Sunday, till Midnight. Well worth checking out if your in the area"

It is a well maintained classic brewhouse with a correspondingly rustic atmosphere, friendly, sometimes some naughty babes, cool cereal from the barrel and a menu with a huge selection. The advantage here: Since it is not in the middle of the city center, prices are cheaper than in the original morning on the farm."
