"This is near our Hotel and we found it when out for a walk. It is a nice cosy place with feel good atmosphere. So impressed with how clean it is, the service is friendly and great and no problems with English. The food was...genuine, as home cooked and flavoursome, nice and wholesome without being spectacular, but neither was the bill. We had a glass of wine, one and a half pints of beer a schnitzel with fries and salad and a pork with dumpling and sour cabbage, we could not fit sweets in but will go back for the sausages and have sweets as they looked great. The bill €28.20 So in all very good food, immaculately clean, and great cheerful service , what more could you want?"

"I ordered pancakes with maple syrup for breakfast at Café Westend. The pancakes arrived cold, with cold maple syrup. I sent them back and was brought a second batch no apology though. This time the pancakes were lukewarm with cold maple syrup. I didn't...want to embarrass my friend who'd recommended this café, so I did eat them, but they were not nice. Based on this visit, I won't bother returning. There are plenty of places to have a tasty breakfast pancake in Munich"
