"Very beautiful, rustic ambience in this beautifully restored historic building. Also worth mentioning is the large vault in the basement: The menu is also good and plentiful. The food consumed by me was qualitatively and quantitatively very good and the service was also very friendly and fast. Conclusion: really recommended!!!"

"We stayed today on 16.08.2015 their guests at michaelelis. four people a great restaurant beautiful weather, but the selection of the food and the food quality left much to wish. personal well they tried to make the best of it. to the misfortune is still bad. I asked the waiter to swap the humming fork. of the probably 3 existing bottle coolers in the michaelis we were the fourth that, according to the recommendation of the waiter, also ordered a whole bottle of water, but do not want it too fast. after murren the waiter decided to bring an ice cooler with ice, so we had a cool water. despite the very bad breakfast buffet, we didn't get under. we were looking forward to the lunch announced for 11:30. 12:00 clock, but it was already after 5 minutes, the sweet one was consumed by the 5 previous guests. the service promised that new vegetables should have in five minutes. I voted the waiter and was the first to use the new fresh vegetables. I was served at the table. the nice one was about 90 pfeifen. we did not want to pamper the day and at least enjoyed the beautiful day. for the 123,00 € billable we have certainly paid 70 for the name michaelis. from me, the michaelis is not recommended. variker and kerstinquam"

"Var der til aftensmad med familie. Vi var 4 som stort set bestilte hver vores. Tre fik forretter, alle fik en hovedret og en fik dessert. Det blev klaret fint.De hvide asparges med hollandaise var glimrende - friskkogte og der var rigeligt. Hollandaisen manglede en smule syre. Men ellers var alt godt.Stegt kalvelever med løg og rødvinssauce. Leveren var god, men den ledsagende kartoffelmos (var det virkelig kartoffel - eller var det pulver?) var ualmindelig kedelig. Den smagte af absolut ingenting.Vi delte en ganske acceptabel flaske Spätburgunder. Pengene værd, men ikke noget særligt. Der burde være et større udvalg af vine fra Sachsen (også røde).Den efterfølgende espresso var ganske som den skulle være.Problematisk at der på en stor restaurant som Ratskeller ikke er betjening der taler andet end tysk, og ikke forstår andet end tysk. Venlig betjening, men ganske uvidende om den ellers acceptable regionale mad."
