"A hotel where you feel comfortable when entering. Very friendly staff takes you in reception and gives you the feeling good to have arrived. Even the question whether you want to have a bottle of water for the room completes the reception (which was also free but a bottle opener in the room would still be nice). The room was partially refurbished and modern furnishings. Even a tablet with all the information about the hotel, games, tips for the surroundings as well as internet are available in the rooms. The room was clean this is pure formality at this point. It wasn't different to expect. The bathroom is not as modern as the room but functional and clean. The dinner was excellent and also here was the service and quality as in the other areas great. Incomprehensible came to me only when I saw that my beer came from an industrial brewery from the Bavarian capital. In a region full of small and excellent private breweries would still be “air up”. Breakfast is an experience! Here there are not the typical sausages and cheese plates like in hotels, but wonderfully preserved breads that can be ordered individually. The eggs are also freshly prepared and cooked to the point! Great! However, here also a small “critic point” that I do not understand in the context of this excellent breakfast: the eggs are only category “2” Eggs, though from a local producer. Category “0” would be better for your overall offer! In any case, however, there are 5 stars I forgive because 4 would be too little. I felt very comfortable and will come back!"

"The food was a catastrophe, the duck for 22,80€ was probably in the oven since the beginning of the week and was constantly reheated. Nicely, we were given a steak knife instead of the normal cutlery to have a chance to get the meat down. Unfortunately, you can't give zero points, that wasn't just bad, so you never served me!"

"On a walk direction sooneneysee in Essen we found an idyllic restaurant with beautiful beer garden. since we were glad that we could go somewhere and drink something, we were particularly pleased to find such a beautiful place. the friendly waitress came also soon to inquire about our wish. it was in the afternoon and some guests were in the beer garden to refresh themselves. what I saw on eating looked appealing. the foods are in the price-higher range, unfortunately I cannot judge the quality today. we just drank a cola. the price for a 0.3 l cola 2,40€, we found reasonable"

"Been celebrating the birthday of my aunt today. From 3 months to 73 years our table was mixed colorful. For everyone in the menu. All appetizers, main dishes very delicious and also the drinks at a super price ratio. Very pleasant facility that invites you to stay. You don't have to go to Frankfurt or further if that's so close. We'll be back."

"Was here for the first time and can only say my food(Gratinated and filled kiln potato with beef fillet tips, bacon, rag and mountain cheese baked sour cream and salad) was very good! It was a Tuesday, not very full and the service was friendly and flee, I didn't have to wait long for my food. Whatever should be mentioned...the toilet is very nice and well thought-out."
