"Really nice place, staff was super sweet and attentive, sushi was fabulous and I liked that the rice was minimal. The roles... I'm pretty easy to please, but really couldn't find anyone we liked and we had several. Destroyed in sauce, the fish could not taste, and the sauce was not really great to begin – and it tasted the same on every role we had ordered. Such a shame because the sushi nigiri was really delicious, so it started well. The salmon speciality was particularly good. The moderate roles we ordered were rainbows, Hawaii and truffle salmon. Sheet metal."

"Famous Dave’s is located in The Village at Orange right on the corner of Tustin Street and East Village Way. Once you park your car, let your nose lead you to the restaurant. You will easily be able to smell the smokey porky quality from the restaurant. Nothing smells better than BBQ. Nearly a year earlier on 15. Opened in November 2010, I was so happy that we finally had a famous Dave’s in Orange County. The only other places I was in Las Vegas. Dave Anderson, founder of Famous Dave’s, always had a passion for ribs and barbeque. His passion began when he grew up in Chicago, where his father would bring the best tasted slowly smoked ribs and not home from a restaurant. So good recipes are born. We're doing this in the little town of Hawaii. They drive down the street and people sell local food directly from their kitchen. It is a wonderful way to spread your love for food to the masses. Dave went on a 25-year trip around the country, tasting and learning how to make smoked meats from grills to mesquite pits. In May 1994, Dave opened its first site in Hayward, Wisconsin and Rest is history. The decor is designed to simulate a shackle in the back of the deep south up to the corrugated aluminum siding for overhangs. Hardly cut cedar wood and real barn wood gives the restaurants an authentic BBQ feeling. Hand-picked antiques decorate the walls and make you feel at home. The background music fits perfectly with the decor and creates an acute ambience while you eat. Your server will give you a sauce tour before your food arrives so you can taste the different flavors and choose among them your preference. Choose from Rich Sassy (sweet and tangy with hand-picked herbs and spices), Georgia Mustard (Göttin, brown sugar and mustard-based sauce), Texas Pit (Tangy tomato-based sauce with black pepper kick), Sweet Zesty (Authentic “right out of the Pit” taste, which compensates lemon sweets with tempered spices). Have fun with it! Use one or combine them for your own unique taste."

"This place has so great service and sushi! I've always hated to eat sushi (then I'm from Utah), but I'm coming here, I changed. Staff are all so friendly and sweet. The atmosphere is fresh and relaxing. Not to mention it is very affordable to eat here! You can get a whole dish of sushi salad fruit miso tempura for a very good price! Would recommend everyone."

"This place is over 5 stars. The food is proud and you can taste it. If it's Tuesday, you have to try the Spamarito. Sounds crazy, but maybe one of the best things I've ever had. I am a true lover of musubi and that my friends... is the Holy Grail. Make yourself a favor and EAT HERE!"
