"Finally got around to eating at Hobba, where I've wanted to come for a while. We got there around 12 and so finding a table without a booking wasn't hard at all. The vibe is very hip/funky and it feels like it used to be a car garage or something similar with big garage doors at the front, and a modern industrial feel on the inside.<br/ <br/ We were seated right away and given menus promptly and everyone was friendly. There's a good selection to choose from, and a few daily specials to pick from as well, Even with all the delicious sounding all day breakfast items, I opted for a fish burger and it was great. Their chips are honestly the best I've had almost anywhere. I don't know what the secret is, but they were phenomenal. The food came out in a good time, and everything tasted great; everyone else loved what they ordered, as well.<br/ <br/ There was just one or two small and very minor complaints I had about it, and that was lack of room at the table (when all the food and beverages are on there). On a warm day, which it was, the big front doors were open and flies were everywhere. The a/c wasn't put on until it really got hot, so half the meal was in warm conditions and the other half was in noise when it was put on. The last thing was that the burgers kind of had to be eaten with a knife and fork because they were just so messy (sauce and shredded lettuce falling out all over the place), and they placed napkins under the burger, which made it difficult to cut. However ... all in all, I loved it here. Based on my burger the other day, I cannot wait to try their regular cheeseburger and come from breakfast one day too. I loved the atmosphere and feel. Prices are good and while parking can be a bit tricky depending on day or time of visit, it's worth a shlep to get a good meal. Will definitely be back."

"Ich war heute zufällig in Köln Mülheim und habe mich dann aufgrund der sehr positiven Kritiken dazu entschlossen dem Beef'd mal einen Besuch abzustatten. Die "Belgischen Fritten" waren... ok!, Wirklich nicht viel schlechter als bei bekannten Fastfoodketten aber qualitativ so weit von Belgischen Pommes Frites entfernt wie es nur geht. Aber für den Preis schlussendlich akzeptabel da die dazugehörigen Saucen tatsächlich sehr delikat und fast ausgefallen daher kamen. Der Burger war fast gut. Das "Bunn" war exquisite und das Fleisch angenehm in Geschmack und Konsistenz, aber der Rest war labbrig und langweilig und die Avocado war dermaßen hart wie ich es noch nie erlebt habe. Die Wartezeit war wirklich unter aller Sau und das bringt auch den größten Punktabzug. Nachdem meine Bestellung 2 mal übergangen wurde, entschuldigte sich das Küchenteam mit einem schuldbewussten lächeln und ließ mich weitere 15 min. schmoren. Wenn dem Personal die Überforderung nicht anzusehen gewesen wäre hätte man fast sauer werden können. Wirklich gut gefallen hat mir dann schließlich doch die Auswahl an Getränken. Wer Fritz Kola anbietet beweist wenigstens in einem Punkt guten Geschmack."
