"I've never been to this facility and I've been looking forward to a new restaurant. I was part of a party of 20 a week before Christmas. Before we even got there, we did NOT get special instructions to disturb the other males. All three. As soon as my husband and I came into the door and waiter (possibly owner? realized that we were part of the great party (that was not loud, nor gross, he was rude. He didn't lead us to where we should go, but to the direction of our colleagues and went away. The room in which everyone sat was small and unobtrusive. There was a life-size plastic Santa look over the tables. Let me be the first to point out that Christmas lights tied to the garden grating (the way you glue the floor of your mobile home with and then to the sealing does not correspond to the ambience. The few stalls in the room were tiny and would not have sat comfortably on the TWO. We were expected to sit on two sets of two tables that were pushed together. Neither were set. There was a stack of plates and cutlery in a corner we were expected to know first and out of us. They couldn't even be harassed to tell us we just had to play I SPY. We couldn't even be at a single table (for his other customers wouldn't have room... Do you remember all three in the room? I like our friends as much as the next man, but I don't want to eat shoulders. We chose a stand and were immediately told by waiter/owner NO! They sit THERE and are gone. (Coats and purses were not even allowed to be in a stand that I was withdrawn from this (I am not sure why, as we got such a warm welcome, but moved to the two seats in the middle of the table. Do you remember sitting on a high school bus? It wasn't different. Waiters/owners came in and INFORMED us what we would eat and what we would drink and leave. He came back and hit a few soda pitchers on the table. He did not offer straws or other drinks (not even water). Another woman wanted a straw, but was afraid to ask. As more and more of our party arrived, they received quick instructions about the rules. (We were not allowed to speak on audible levels Remember Seinfeld's Soup Nazi? I actually expected him to scream NO FOOD FOR YOU and throw us out. When the food finally arrived, he hit a piece of pizza on our plates and barked WHO ELSE WANTS DIESER KIND? Once we were all served, we sat there and looked at our plates. We all wondered if we had permission to eat. I had expected the food to be fabulous to compensate for our abyss service. I was very disappointed. The pizza looked like ingredients were sprinkled on some bread and then sprinkled with cheese. The taste was comparable to Sbarros perhaps Dominos. (Only they have a better customer service. No one asked how we were, how our food was, or when we needed something. I saw three people trying their filled mushrooms (all three spit them out and one person trying a Pasta Alfredo Art dish. Two bites were taken. The bill was delivered without asking if someone wanted Dessert. Kellner/Owner sent his niches to watch us steal his pepper flakes or something. If anyone had to ask something (like a fork or straw, his neductions were just as inhospitable. Half of ours went from waiters/owners and demanded records. He didn't ask if we were done that he had already decided. He'd come in and check his watch and go away. We're here at 8:00 and we were here for less than two hours. Personally, I've never been at a Friday night in a restaurant that closed before eleven. This was my first (and last experience as this institution. Someone had said this is how they are (Italians). While all this is good and good, we were not in Italy. I know from experience, the customer can NOT always be right, but the customer is ALWAYS the customer. A general rule of thumb when your food sucks you better have excellent service. If you do not want to have a big party in your place, do not agree to have one. I'm sure the tip was included in the bill, which is a good thing for him, because not one of us would have liked a single cent. If you only have moderate Italian food, I assure you that this is NOT the place to get it."
