"It was our second visit to the Mono and probably the last. On our first visit we were very impressed by the atmosphere and the pizza. I would describe the food as expensive, but you also want to treat yourself to something good and if it tastes good, that's fine. We arrived at opening time and hadn't made a reservation. We were told we could have the table until 8 p.m. The pizza (for €16) was just as delicious as before. Unfortunately, the joy was rather dampened because the service was somehow very condescending right from the start and throughout. We constantly felt unwelcome and annoying. Nevertheless, you still ordered dessert. The tiramisu, for a whopping €7, unfortunately a touch of nothing, a maximum of 150g or 3 tablespoons, whichever way you take it, unfortunately also tasted bland. At 7:05 p.m., when we wanted to order a pizza (for €16) to take away, the waitress literally asked when we planned to leave. Mind you, we were initially told we could have the table until 8 p.m. Very hospitable and gracious that we were allowed to stay until the pizza we ordered arrived. Unfortunately, the pizza to take away was significantly smaller than the one we had before. That was basically the cherry on the cake. We paid around €70 together, but the price/performance was definitely not right."
