"The food is very good and the surroundings are beautiful. I felt that the staff tried to sell more than necessary without specifying the prices. If you’re entertaining, it’s helpful that if the staff tries to sell an additional glass of champagne $80/glass or truffle nan $80 for four that the prices for the guests are recited as the “specials”. The current tactics are usually used by restaurants to intimidate guests in more than necessary expenses. I was made to feel before my guests to ask prices of the server when my bill for four was already over $1200. Not nice, Taj Hotels! You need to retrain your staff and be honest with your clientele. Your current policy is unacceptable."
