"On a rainy winter afternoon, my partner and I shivered and headed for lunch in Auroville. The weather called for a hot bowl of soup and we tried to find out where we saw a Tibetan restaurant. Soaked in rain on our Scooty, we finally noticed the board from Lhasa. When we walked in we were given a warm welcome by the owner / waiter. When he saw us all wet, he thoughtfully offered us warm water to drink. We ordered momos and chicken and beef thukpa. The food was lovely. The decor was minimal with few colorful curtains and lights, but I loved the relaxed feel of the place."

"We went and stayed here for the breakfast buffet. It's a very nice looking restaurant. It had both South Indian and continental distribution. There were good varieties, eggs can be ordered, and there was a live dosa counter. There was also idli, vada, french toast, hot dog, muffins, croissants, donuts and dry cakes. The food tasted good and the service was good too."

"Great and fun prices. Very light food and the right amount. If you order 1 plate of meal, that would be enough for exactly 1 person. I love how they run the restaurant. The service is very quick. <br>
They have a really big spacious hall to dine in and their system of keeping the home delivery area separate can be appreciated."

"Standing in the middle of the road at around PM and deciding where to have our dinner, finally chose this place as it was opposite to us and my friend wanted to have a rooftop dinner.<br/>But the rooftop was closed and we had to settle for a normal dinner.<br/>We ordered schezwan fried rice,le tandoor spl rice and Indonesian noodles, which tasted pretty good and the ambience was average.<br"

"Ever heard of a restaurant that doesn't serve its customers? If you haven't, visit Selvas. You will sit for 20 minutes and no one will take your order even if you ask them 5 times. But - if you are a local or a white skinned foreigner they will give you their full attention. So be ready to face discrimination if you are a light skinned North Indian person. Most pathetic thing I've ever seen. People who came in after us were served, but not us. We finally had to get out when they made it clear they weren't interested in having us there."

"The food here was remarkable. We were staying at abirami hotel and we were offered the complementary breakfast here. All the dishes were so fresh and tasty. Starting with watermelon juice, hot and steaming idlis, soft and crisp medu wadas, aloo sabji and poori. All served with chutneys and not to forget pineapple sheera. Great taste !"
