"For my birthday I got a beer tasting. This was a great pleasure for me because I find the great differences in beer styles surprising again and again. The width is extremely large. More than a dozen different flavors are spoken. Basically, I like herber varieties rather than malty versions. A tasting (new German: Tasting under technical guidance could bring new findings. In the “Bierlager” in the southern city near Chlodwigplatz, dadür would also have to be a perfect place. Ambience It is certainly rare that a sales outlet also has seats and sprinkles beer on site. This is possible in the “Bierlager”; therefore they also call themselves Bbaren. In addition to the sale and the bottle outlet, tastings are also carried out. You can book them on site or via the homepage. The storeroom is of course equipped with shelves and many bottles and can beadings. There are also a few tables in front of the entrance. However, the tasting was carried out in a neighboring room. The facility was functional (small tables and seats and quite economical. But it was more about the beer sample. Service We all got a place to show. A young woman led through the evening as “Bier Sommelière”. That made them with charm and expertise. Previously, she explained some things like, for example, that with eight beers – in order to be able to cost well – one bottle would suffice. I can only fully agree with that. Unlike wine tastings, everything is drunk: wine spit, brewers swallow! This is the sense of taste: the tongue has different zones and recognizes sweet, sour, salty, bitter and hearty spicy, also called umami – and bitter notes only come to bear when leaving. Bread and salty peanuts were ready to neutralize the mouth between the bees. Each beer (it was eight got about a quarter of an hour for trials and reports. The tasting beers No. 1: mosquito raspberry gose brewery: mosquito beer in food Brewing style: gose ingredients: coriander, raspberries, water, barley malt, wheat malt, hops, yeast, lactic acid, salt alcohol: 4.4 bitterness: IBU 14 The beer had a bright color, was turbid and formed little foam. It seemed to me slightly herb and fruity. So far, the few Gose beers I've tried so far were quite sour and almost unpleasant in the mouth. This variant had alleviated the acid by the fruit notes. The small glass was therefore surprisingly pleasant in taste; However, I do not know if I still mean it after a larger amount. No. 2: BRLO Brauerei: BRLO (pronounced: Berlo in Berlin Braustil: Bearing Ingredients: Brauwasser, GERSTENMALZ (Pilsen Malz, Munich Malz ), hops (Opal, Spliter Select, Tettnanger , yeast Alcohol: 5.0 Bitter units: 25 IBU After the mountainous beer came out Blowish beer only after this heap. When it was plugged in, it looked relatively bright and was cloudy (so not filtered). The foam also formed only moderately. In the mouth it was sinful – mild. I would also drink more of this (at other occasions. No. 3: Mashsee Beverly Pils Brewery: Mashsee in Hanover Brewing Style: Pils Ingredients: Water, GERSTENMALZ (Pilsner, Carapils , Hops (Citra, Magnum , Yeast Alcohol: 4,7 Bitter Units: 30 IBU In the glass the beer was also bright and cloudy in sight. But scahum formation was relatively intense. The taste was fine and very pleasant to me. The bitterness was well integrated in the other flavors. I'll try the brand again. I like a certain note of bitterness; No. 4: BrewDog Pale Ale West Coast Brewery: BrewDog in Berlin Brewstyle: West Coast Pale Ale Ingredients: Hops: Chinook, Citra, Simcoe Malzsorts: Crystal, Munich, Pale Alcohol: 4.5 Bitter Units: 30 IBU Here the beer was slightly dark a small white foam crown also forms. In my nose I noticed herb and fruity tones. In my mouth I also noticed malty and fruity notes; light bitterness came to light when leaving. So quite a beer that still promises me; but I don't need more fruit. The Pils before, would be in front of me. No. 5: Munich Brew Mafia Mr. Gelato Brewery: Munich Brew Mafia in Munich Brewing style: Milkshake New England India Pale Ale Ingredients: water, barley malt, wheat malt, oat malt, peach, vanilla, hops, yeast Hops: Citra, Cryo, Sultana Alcohol: 7.0 Bitter units: 38 IBU Now it became “exo The color was about amber, the consistency seemed quite cloudy to me. The foam was moderate. In the mouth it seemed slightly creamy; clear fruit tones and sweetness were noticeable in the mouth. Our precoster called the beer: A Milkshake IPA. It was quite fruity. For me a new experience and certainly an interesting change. But I don't really need a whole bottle. No. 6 : Beer storage Strammer Max Brewery: Free spirit beer culture on behalf of beer storage (Lohnsud Brewing style: Double IPA Ingredients: Water, GERSTENMALZ, WEIZENMALZ, Hops (Cascade, Zeus, Simcoe, Summit, Citra, Tettnanger , yeast Alcohol: 8.0 Bitter units: 65 IBU The beer was before; so much darker Scahum had little. In the nose I felt boiled tones and also fruity elements. These beers have a lot of alcohol; it originally drank English in India. Because of the durability, it had to be tapped to survive the sea trip at that time. I liked it less than a Pale Ale than a Red Ale; because there are the malty sounds in the foreground. Therefore, I would probably prefer a “normal” IPA. No. 7: Westmalle Tripel Brewery: Westmalle Trappist Brewing style: Tripel Ingredients: Water, GERSTENMALZ, Hops, Yeast, Sugar Alcohol: 9.5 Bitter units: 36 IBU The monastery beer from Belgium (protected origin was again a bit brighter in the glass, it foams quite neatly. The alcohol was even higher than before; but it was less herb. It seemed malty to me – sweet with fine bitter notes. It tasted me, but I guess I have to get even more out of this direction to make a secure judgment. No. 8: Riedenburger Dolden Dark Brewery: Riedenburger Braustil: Porter Ingredients: Water, GERSTENMALZ, EMMERMALZ, Hops, Yeast Alcohol: 6.9 Bitter units: 28 IBU The beer was almost black in the glass and also made a lot of foam. In the nose I felt almost only malt notes (It reminded me of the German malt beer – but the “mother beer” has hardly any alcohol. That was different. I felt the taste very malty and reddish. This direction will never be my case. I need some bitter and hearty notes in the beer. But it was another experience – and half a bottle I already can; it was not repulsive – only not my taste. The order of tasting was well chosen, if the last beer had been the first, I could hardly have pushed the malt later. Conclusion 5 – absolutely again. It is just fun to taste and compare small amounts of various beers. (1 – certainly not again, 2 – hardly again, 3 – if it turns out again, 4 – happy again, 5 – necessarily again – after “Kuechenreise” Date of visit: 29.12.2021 – evening – 2 people My pleasure experiences are also included [here link]"
