"Worst experience I’ve had at Benihana. Have been going for years to the Lombard,IL location and this location does not even compare. Under staffed, food ok, servers and chef did the best they could considering the circumstances. Cleanliness an issue. Quality down and prices up. Never been to a Benihana with an offer of white or brown rice and no fried rice included, found out too late you need to ordered it separately it isn’t even offered and should be. The fried rice was the best part. Very dissatisfied and will not go back to this location."

"The customer service was awful! I was seated at my table waiting for the rest of my party when the rude receptionist asked me to leave my table until the rest of my party arrived. minutes hadn’t passed when the rest of the party arrived and she gave our table away. I don’t believe someone even sanitized the table or chair I was sitting at before having to move. I felt disrespected and violated and it was uncalled for. Shame on you Benihana for have terrible customer service"

"Overcrowded and slow. We weren’t seated until an hour after our reservation. Staff was nice and only positive as they did what they could despite whatever the issue was that caused such a delay. Even then our chef seemed inexperienced. My meal was fine but chef didn’t cut up the green onions? My wife’s meal was not good and she hardly touched as meat was very tough… not overcooked but just a very cheap cut of beef. Others at our table had undercooked fish. A 2.5 hour experience I won’t care to repeat. Been a while since I’ve been to a Benihana and always thought it was great before… things have changed dramatically."
