"We were invited to Common Ground Coffee today which is not only a cafe but essentially a pastry shop too with all cakes and pies passionately created in house. <br/ <br/ We were extremely impressed by the capsicum chicken pie which had great flavour and exceptional pastry. We also tried an array of breakfast dishes including the sweet potato and corn fritters, the classic smashed avocado as well as the mango hot cakes. I loved the presentation of the hot cakes and the delicious mango compote with yummy mascarpone. <br/ <br/ My chai was on the sweet side so I assume it was powdered but I tend to prefer them that way as opposed to overly milky. Next time you are at the Vic market I highly recommend you pop in for a pie"
