"Overall a positive dining experience with attentive and friendly staff; literally each person we passed, greeting us as we entered, and bussers on point with water refills and cleanup. Our waiter was great too. The food was nicely presented, but left a little to be desired in flavor. The seared ahi was a little bland and had an okay sauce to dip in. The chirashi bowl had a whole section of cored-out cucumber stacked vertically with roe that made it awkward to eat and tempura with a somewhat bland dipping sauce. And the seared salmon was overcooked to a jerky-like consistency that had to be returned. Other than those missteps, the butterfish was flaky and delicious with forbidden black rice, the Mai Tai was strong and tropical, and the chocolate souffle paired with vanilla ice cream and raspberry sauce left us debating if we should order a second one."
