"Walked up the road to the Corner Cafe for brunch. A nice location; a well presented little establishment with good service. I had a stack of pancakes with bacon, eggs and hollandaise sauce.....very nice. Generally speaking, food was pretty well priced, with the exception of the additional 'sides'. My wife had the bacon and eggs. She asked for a side of tomato. Half a medium sized tomato was presented on the plate.....$3.50! Really? My recommendations:To the cafe - pop the other half of the tomato on the plate or, drop the price of the sides a little.To customers - There is plenty to like about this place on a sunny Sunday morning. "We had heard mixed reviews about this restaurant but decided to give it a go on a weeknight. We ordered a pizza and a pasta dish. Both were very tasty but it took nearly an hour from when we ordered for the food to come. It wasn't busy, so I'm not sure why. Complimentary bread is provided. Staff were friendly but a little odd. Asked us some strange questions... they have some specials that include a glass of wine or a beer and are also BYO, so that's nice! May go back - not sure.."
