"Just tried Al's diner for breakfast. I sat on the lower part of the restaurant and had to wait for the menu, wait for coffee and when my breakfast finally came, it was cold. Two girls arrived 15 minutes after me and sat in the upper section. They were eating their breakfast while I was still waiting. My waitress was visiting with people and drinking her coffee. cold eggs....yuk! I will give it another try but will be careful as to which section I sit in."

"Despite many large group reservations this morning, the staff was helpful, attentive and professional. You really can't go wrong. We paid $6.99 for a 2 egg breakfast and you need to try their beans. They all ran over the beans! The food was cooked to our satisfaction and came quite quickly (contained the big groups!!! They were on my request, the meat in the meal for a substitution so very vegetarian friendly! Our cups of coffee were never empty and we never had to wait until the waiter came back. Overall, this was a fantastic experience and I would definitely recommend it! A disadvantage: The restaurant is not accessible. You have to take a small staircase up to the entrance."

"They serve starter plates here and they change the menu often to keep the patrons happy. The food is excellent. I go often and always find a new favourite. The service is amazing, the owner is a dear, the chef is super talented and the atmosphere is heart warming. Just a great place to dine out."
