"Husband's birthday with family. Staff beautiful and attentive. Service little slow waited for a while to come for food. The food was good and they put candle on dessert. Small expensive for pub food but beautiful restaurant"

"My first choices were not available so my third choice was the ‘slow roasted’ pork belly. I checked this out on the Instagram account to see if it looked crispy on top and well cooked which it did. When it arrived it was basically a pork belly slice which had been under the grill for a while. It was very fatty and firm not slow roasted and falling apart as I would have expected! The chef said ‘it was a particularly fatty piece’!!! Which made me wonder why he served it? Surely he would only want to serve the best, well cooked food as it’s his kitchen that is judged by the quality presented to the customer. I ended up with the roast chicken which was just average Disappointing."
