"This place is what I would call a first class breakfast spot. Has the feel of a family run spot, warm, inviting and welcoming.Breakfast portion are generous and the food is delicious. Freshly squeezed juice, top ups on coffee and slices of peameal bacon that are 1/4” think resembling mini pork chops.Iconic cities like New York, Chicago and New Orleans have many such places that have been around for decades. Classic diners or breakfast joints. Toronto does not have many. This is one place that I would classify as that. Great food. Reasonable prices. Great service and completely unpretentious. Well worth a visit. You won’t be disappointed.Parking: Street parking available."

"Who knew breakfast could be this good? Toast on Bloor really surprised me with such amazing food! The eggs Benedict and the B.A.T. was out of this world all fresh ingredients plus the flavours blended together very well. The coffee actually tasted really good! I recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for something different than the usual breakfast food. You?ll be truly impressed! The servers are very nice and attentive, and the atmosphere is really cozy. I will be coming here more often!"

"Great family restaurant and the owner is top notch and cares about his customers. My meal brought to our table late, and they totally comped it- no questions. A large souvlaki plate, which was very generous. The quality of the food is top notch. Bring your family here, very kids friendly."

"Ever have conflicting food cravings with your food buddy, where you wanted Breakfast, and your buddy wanted Indian food?? This spot will solve that problem?? We got Butter Chicken Combo, upgraded the side to Paneer Parantha, Chicken Biryani, Donuts, Classic Breakfast, and for Drinks we got Mango Lassi, and Rose Drink. The Butter Chicken was INSANELY RICH, creamy, the Chicken was so tender that it melted, the Paneer Parantha was flakey and perfect to catch all the delicious Sauces with, UGH SO GOOD! Chicken Biryani was also AMAZING, it was tossed in a beautiful Curry, along with perfectly cooked Rice, Cilantro, and more melt-in-your-mouth Chicken, LOVED IT! This spot was actually a Donut/Diner prior to serving up authentic Indian food, so we tried their Marble, and Hawaiian Donuts, both were soft, fluffy, sweet, and delish! Classic Breakfast came with a choice of Protein, so we got Bacon, 3 Eggs, Toasts, Home Fries, the Bacon was perfectly cooked, gotta love a classic brekky! Don’t sleep on their eye-catching Drinks, Mango Lassi was creamy, Rose Drink was flavourful!"

"This breakfast/lunch spot is clean and cheery. $3 will get you a bottomless drip coffee and the waitresses will refill it often. The chorizo sausage eggs benny was a monstrous meal that fills any hungry man, and even the more moderate western sandwich required a take-home container. You won't go home hungry."

"My twins and I had brunch here on the weekend. We basically just "happened upon" the restaurant, and were very pleasantly surprised. The place is very clean and friendly and you can tell that it's popular. The food was outstanding, the best breakfast-type food I can remember having at any restaurant. Coffee was hot and fresh and service was quick. I had the smoked salmon platter - it came with a huge mound of beautiful smoked salmon, a hot toasted bagel, as well as cream cheese, sliced onions and capers on the side - and also a little cup of very fresh fruit. It was outstanding! The service blips did seem minor to us but I will mention them. We had to ask for knives and forks, remind the waitress about the requested glasses of water - and my son and daughter both requested "hold the capers" on their meals, but that didn't happen. These glitches aside - it was a wonderful meal and we will recommend the restaurant to friends - and will be back!!!"
