"Had Sunday brunch with friends. Food was nice and wait staff were attentive. However, the whole experience was ruined by the man with glasses whom I presume is the owner, who kicked up a fuss when we presented an Entertainment Card voucher. Firstly, it wasn’t...clear how much the bill came to and then when one of us gave him a $20 note as payment for their meal, he launched into a tirade about how there are no split bills and that we can’t “pick and choose” which meal we want a discount for, which was completely unreasonable and uncalled for because we hadn’t uttered a word. If you don’t like it when customers hand you an Entertainment Card voucher, then don’t participate. There is no excuse for such unprovoked rudeness to customers!! Oh yes, and to make matters worse, he only discounted half of one of the meals. My friend ordered scrambled eggs on toast with salmon, but only the eggs and toast were discounted (presumably because the salmon was an add-on) not that we dared to query this!"

"They cool, chinese lady at front really nice. Extra crispy all day get what I want how I ask for it . Some people need to remember is not a 5 star restaurant but cheap and nice. ya not paying a million dollar for a plate to complain so much learn how to cook"

"The bahn mi was sold out when I got there but anyway, I got the signature salad (I think) and grilled pork rice. Grilled pork was very tasty, thought I wish the rice was broken rice (I’m not sure if this is traditional of vietnamese food but I’ve seen it in many vietnamese restaurants). The signature salad was refreshing. Spent $27 on these 2 relatively large dishes so I’d say it’s really affordable."

"An intimate dinner for 4 between friends was unhappy when the service was unconsistent and sometimes upright. the restaurant was not busy. we sat in the bar area and beside a few at the bar and another at a table next to us it was empty the restaurant department was more busy but not full. there were 4-5 waiting staff, but we had to wait for a long time. I got this up with our waiter, tactical and political, and thought the service would actually make it even worse! we were quite ignored after that. some of the dishes like the pink ling katsu was delicious, but the portions were generally small. the bill came to over $600. all in all, not worth visiting. there is much better service, eat and portion size in melbourne!"
