"We were in Milwaukee for an event on Saturday morning. A BrewCity 10k run, and the runners wanted to pamper themselves. So we called a few places and everyone was full and had no open tables until late. We hunted a few places and decided to check on open table. They didn't wait! We drove by and sat right away. Nice place with red and white checked tablecloths, hockey jerseys, TV for sport. It was Darling! The menu was a nice selection of pasta, pizza and burgers. We added Rudys Special with green olives on a thin crust. My daughter ordered the Hot Mommas Pasta dish. It seemed to take a while, maybe because we were hungry because it wasn't awfully busy. Our waitress was attentive and holding or drinking. When the food finally arrived, it was worth waiting! She lived her pasta and we almost completely swallowed the pizza. The only thing I would say is that I loved it not a full of sauce on it, more like fresh tomatoes, the crust seemed a little reworked and hard, but still completely delicious. I know pizzas vary according to area, so maybe. Milwaukee thing! In everything we had a great time! It seemed like they did a nice carry-out business. My daughter friend ordered a local beer and enjoyed it!"
