"Had a wonderful dinner at Eric's Bistro. Haven't been there in a while and they have not lost their touch..We were warmly greeted by Frank , the manager. We started with the arugula salad and I had the Veal Valdostano and my wife had the Ashley's Fruitti De Mare. All was excellent! Our server was Stephanie along with Santiago who were both delightful! We will make this one of our main favorites. Food: 5"

"Very special to be there. Had a great outdoor table. Only problem was one guest had to send the grouper back as was too tough? Could not cut thru it with a table knife. Other dinners were good. Not sure why the sidewalk tables had tablecloths but the porch tables did not? Missed that final touch"

"The Eggplant Parm is the absolute best I have ever tasted. Seriously, I would go there just for the Eggplant! Yummy garlic focaccia, broccoli in EVOO. Decent wine. Mom son who run the restaurant are nice. Good value!"

"After reading a lot of reviews about Sams, I expected a lot, a perfect Thanksgiving dinner. The ambience of the restaurant was really nice, comfortable. The staff was attentive. Dinner was good, but a few things took off. Dry, overcooked filling, missing cranberry sauce, mix-ups on which got what kind of soup and desert. I'll visit Sam's next time we're in Santa Monica and give him another try."

"This was my first time dining at Barbalu, and I had the most amazing experience. The restaurant is simple but beautiful, and also has a lovely selection of outdoor tables. I had a wonderful, fresh mixed greens salad to start. I then had the squid ink pasta with shrimp in a spicy tomato sauce. It was out of this world. I finished with the chocolate walnut cake, which was rich and decadent. My server Alejandro was wonderful, and made certain that my experience was perfect. A great choice for dining if you're near the South Street Seaport, or anywhere in lower Manhattan."

"Wiener schnitzel was OK, but just OK. Small resemblance to the Viennese original. Same for apfel strudel. Service was friendly and excellent. Customers all seemed to know each other. Group of men at next table had their meal, then waitress brought them a stack of cards, and they settled in for the night. That was a nice touch."
