"We found the staff to be attentive , friendly and helpful .Our party arrived at separate times and were shown to our table without fuss or delay. We were a bit slow at ordering our food but the waitress allowed us plenty of time . All food arrived at the same time and was well cooked and well presented on hot plates and of good quantity. Suitable sauces were also brought quickly on request. Drink requests were also quickly attended to. Waitress also enquired if there were any problems with the meals a few minutes after they were delivered. There were no problems. One of our party was aged and was relieved to find a disabled parking slot available immediately adjacent to the entrance. Only two such spaces appeared to be set aside could there be more made available? Our table was also on the upper area of the split level inside the building and the three access steps did cause some problems for the year old. This was hardly the fault of the staff as I did not mention this when booking the table or request a table on the level. The table was booked on line and as far as I could see apologies if I am wrong there was no mention of the split level with regard to possible guest walking difficulties. Perhaps this could be added to the site page?Altogether we had a very enjoyable evening. Thank you"

"I recently visited The Mint restaurant in Banstead and had a delightful experience. I chose the vegetarian breakfast, and it was fantastic a delicious blend of flavors and high quality ingredients. Alice, who I believe was the manageress, and Josh, a young man who assisted her, were excellent hosts. They were warm, friendly, and attentive throughout my visit, making me feel very welcome. Their excellent service made my visit all the more enjoyable. Overall, I highly recommend The Mint to anyone looking for a great dining experience. With their delicious food, exceptional service, and welcoming atmosphere, it's definitely worth a visit. I rate it a 5/5 and look forward to returning soon!"

"The most important courses were very nice. Disappointed that you were unable to order a mini dessert without a hot drink, as we did in other Vintage Inns. When he was informed that this was not an option, the waitress immediately asked if we wanted the bill that gave the impression that when we did not order a dessert, we did not want to stay, although the place was not busy. She did the same with another couple. Surprises how places usually wait until asked for the bill."

"We have found the Turnpike-Hit and miss in the past, but today for Sunday dinner. the personal is polite, but uninterested. my lamb roast had very little meat and the yorkshire puddings were very flakey without substance, veg was boiled and blanching. at £13 I expected more on my teller. when the staff asked us how the meal was I informed them about it and despite this was calculated the full meal price so that we left completely dissatisfied with no intentional return. it could be so much better!"

"Nice pub/restaurant. I would say it was among servants, although the two working people were very pleasant. Had fish and chips chips were beautiful, but fish overcooked to spoil lunch. Fed with loud music, as it is difficult to have a conversation."

"What a difference a couple of days makes!! The food was was just as good as our first visit but oh the service. It is a long time since we have experienced such a catalogue of poor service from the moment we arrived to the paying the bill challenges truly appalling. Our friends were left questioning why we had invited them to a dining experience at Balloch House despite the quality of the food."
