"If you like cheese a visit here is a must. Beautifully presented, full explanation of cheeses and in which order to eat them. The staff so friendly and helpful. This establishment is a little out of the way but definitely worth the find."

"This colourful bar is situated in the Port des Pecheurs , with ample parking in the square, or easy walking from La Grand Plage. The bright red awnings are eye catching, and once inside there is a great atmosphere with all the walls plastered with posters, and objet d'art hanging from every nook and cranny. We visited at lunchtime and were warmly welcomed by the owner, Fabrice,and his wife Sandie. We met the chef too ,there is an ala carte menu but we we're pleased we chose the plat du jour at 9.50 euros, great value in Biarritz, and were quickly served , after having a couple of glasses of wine sitting outside with stools and barrels. We believe in the evening there is live music, but judging by the number of locals ,this is a popular venue, lunchtime and evening."

"We were late looking for food one evening and this place stays open weekdays longer than others. It is an atmospheric dining room with a half open kitchen, staffed by two cooks. The menu is varied and well chosen, and there is excellent cider and a short wine list.The food was served in very big portions and was nicely cooked home-style food, rather lacking in style and sophistication, with little effort to take it to a higher level. Prices were not high and the restaurant obviously has a local following. There are many places locally that serve similar food to a higher standard, but also, perhaps, more expensive. For the night we were there, it was more than fit for purpose."

"Good French restaurant with classic dishes terroirs of very good quality, almost all homemade, reasonable prices, fries too soft and slow service, only 1 waitress in the month of August !! Fortunately we came early!!"

"Went on the evening of 14th July Bastille Day. We tried to get the attention of a waitress to find out how long we would have to wait and after ignoring us for 5 minutes she rudely told us to just wait. Only for another waitress Charlotte who saw our plight and got us seated quickly I reckon we would have been ignored for another 30 minutesThe food was tasty but was slow in coming out of the kitchen to the point where we paid the bill and left before the desert my wife ordered appeared. I understand it was on of the busiest evenings of the year but there is no excuse for rudeness"
