"Offers a fantastic GF roast on Sundays, including a selection of GF vegetarian options and some of the best GF puddings I've ever tried. All home-cooked! Worth a trip though it is worth remembering that meals are served only on Sunday. I think they're doing charcuterie plates this week, but they never tried."

"When I was in brighton, I chose the pasta bolognese. it was ice cold, I had to put it back into the microwave. the workers are the most unfriendly people in brighton one of them (owners I suspect). came out and cried over us, and they disturbed them to sit on their flowers, they were not just the wall stretched. there are many better places to eat and get coffee in brighton. I would advise somewhere that hot eating or offering service with a smile"

"Walking past in the rain as the cafe was closing and the owner jumps out and offers me some free food. First reaction, peversely, is an internal 'no ' but then I look at what 's on offer and change my mind abruptly. Now back home and eating the gift a delicious crispy based ricotta, beetroot and walnut flan. Free food AND a stimulating Q&A (Q 's from me) about the colourful and potent history of Helmston. Made my evening."
