"This was purely a fluke selection of restaurants and what a stroke of genius it was too. Straight away, the ambience inside and out made a terrific impact being right on the waters edge with the city lights in the background. Then came our wonderful host, who was friendly, professional and sweet. She took us to our table by the window and the dining began. The menu was a little challenging to read in the low light but we got through it. Entrees was Wild mushroom arancini balls(3) with a light, sweet sauce. Then came mains, I had the chicken risotto. Rice with roasted pine nuts, crispy sage and the most tender chicken I have ever had in a beautiful creamy sauce. ABSOLUTELY delicious. Highly recommend it. The wife had the fish and chips with just the right amount of tartar sauce but she added parmesan cheese to it. WOW, what a stroke of brilliance. SENSATIONAL. We finished off with a shared Sticky date pudding with icecream and mini chocolate balls. YUMMY. Personalised, friendly and attentive service combined with a SENSATIONAL menu, what more could you want. A huge thanks to all the staff. We will be back."

"We ate at the carvery before a recent game for dinner. The cost is $55 per head for a 3 course buffet, but children under 12 are $15 or free prior to day and twilight games. So for families its quite good value. The entrees consist of salads, bread, fresh prawns, mussels, smoked salmon, seafood sauce, cold meats etc. All was good. The mains were roast beef and pork (with a good crackling), and on the night we were there - included cauliflower mornay, rogan josh, ocean trout, rice, spring rolls. Everything was fresh, the fish was a little overdone, the beef was high quality but quite blue. I ate mine, I prefer my meat quite rare anyway, but even for me it was undercooked. My husband couldn't eat it and unfortunately they ran out of pork and it was a 15 minute wait for more and they didn't want to miss the start of the game. The rogan josh was tasty. Dessert was a hit with the kids - a Connoisseur ice-cream bar (bowl or cones), cheeses - blue, brie, cheddar- served with water crackers and savoury sticks, new York baked cheesecake, creme brulees, and a wide range of individual mini desserts which were (the ones I tried) just AMAZING! Things like a black forest mousse cake, almond and honey torte, flourless chocolate cake with a caramel topping, chocolate and orange tart. You can sit and eat and drink until half time so my tip if you're going would be to book a window table so you have a stunning view of the ground, and you can dine and watch in comfort and take your time. The service was very good, staff lovely and efficient at clearing and providing drink service. Drinks are fairly expensive - $15 per glass of wine. But all in all good value if you take your time."
