"Fried feta cheese(Saginaki) was legendary! Okay I admit it’s hard to make something that’s NOT tasty with cheese, but you should definitely try this one, try it hot. Only thing was that the restaurant didn’t actually open on time, so we waited for some time. But I guess that’s all about Greek? Chilling and relaxing"

"We were so frustrated with this Knossos temple that we looked for a quiet place to have a refreshing drink. Pasiphae is a restaurant and not a coffee shop. We also all got something to drink. We ordered a freshly squeezed fruit and vegetable juice. In my opinion it was mixed together from various direct juices from the Tetra Pak and at just over 5.00 euros it was very well paid for. You can sit outside under a sun roof and it's quite nice there. But also right next to the street. And I saw that they had a large fenced-in area for the children. They were also happy to take advantage of the offer and were able to play there with a good selection of toys within sight of their parents."

"One of our favorites (if not the best food experiences on kreta. it is run by a family and the daughter sat with us to explain every dish in English. She was funny and brutally honest and I loved her. some of the dishes sounded really unique in comparison to the regular offer in other Cretan restaurants and I can't remember the exact names, but I would definitely recommend to try them out (mushrooms with honey and lemon schädling? eggs that are boiled from boiled goat's milk in foam? All that we tried was absolutely delicious and even the broth was absolutely delicious. we were charged a total of about 40€. the place is a bit hard to find, but as soon as they arrive there, they are led into a beautiful open space with a few tables and fresh air. try to find the toilets when they are there, it's fun!"

"A Bougatsa shop since 1922. very tasty and high quality food served by friendly staff. the load is open from 6 o'clock in the morning and makes it the perfect stop for a fast caffe and energy refill when they arrive after a nine hour drive in heraklion."

"Although this restaurant is located in the city center, it offers great dishes at a reasonable price. two huge Greek salads, enormous gyros on the plate, moussaka, dessert, juice and beer cost less than 30 euro! all dishes were delicious, especially Greek yogurt with honey and cinnamon. also the interieur with many small details is very interesting"

"Getting off the bus and needing a bathroom led me in here despite the guy waving in customers and looking like a “tourist trap” Turns out the food is great, I’m not a food critic, but I enjoyed it. The menu is large and extensive with something for probably everyone. Also, the prices are very reasonable too. Found a table upstairs with a nice breeze, power outlet to recharge and free WiFi."

"I can highly recommend this place! VERY nice staff, great food and drinks. It is one of the few places around that opens up at 6am already which is very convenient if you arrive by ferry in the morning. We really enjoyed our time here. The cafe is placed at a nice square with a fountain, has an outdoor area and two seating areas inside. Good experience all around : !"
