"Just a small note to say thanks to the gentlemen behind the meals to go counter on Wednesday night. You were so accommodating when I asked if you didn't mind heating up my sandwich, as I was staying at the hotel down the street and...didn't have a way to warm it up. He even offered to cut it for me and gave it a fresh wrapping. Small gestures go a long way for tired travelers!"

"Quite extensive menu plus specials for set dinners. We ordered three dishes. The princess chicken was ok. The egg with bean sprouts, dried scallops and bamboo fungus was nicely done, light and moist. The short rib was tender and nicely flavored. Dishes were quite large and plenty of meat for the short rib."

"We lined up for over 20 minutes to buy 2 cheesecakes. Cake was very light and fluffy and not very sweet. I would not wait in line for this cheesecake. Each cheesecake is $10. Cheesecake was only ok."

"No warning, of which all reviews speak. When I ever visited her, I didn't feel like a customer. the customer service is not good at all. that he used to be delicious, but today it is very oily and taste is not where close to good. I really feel bad after I had him. customer service is 0. looks like they have forgotten their business now as they treat their customers."

"How can you be disappointed, why don't you ask for an article on your menu and make it still for you? I ordered a honey vanilla tea latte, and it was super delicious! The staff was very nice and they were very fast... at carrying out our drinks!"

"We had an excellent dimming sum here this weekend and were impressed by the portions and quality of the food. We had shrimp dumplings, sui mai, shrimp spring rolls, spring rolls (pork), simple rice rolls, shrimp rice rolls, rice roll with deep roasted donut, Bbq pork...Bum, Bbq pork pastries, beef noodles with black bean sauce. Both spring rollers were well made, decent size and where three, if normally there are only two rollers. We were so full that we couldn't finish the noodles so we could bring them home. The invoice rose to $38 including taxes. Pretty good for dimming. I've been looking for a good dimming room for a while, the quality is balanced with price and this restaurant is. Warning: The decor needs a serious facial lift and laundry room leaves much to be desired. Travel Tip: Visit Market Village and Pacific Mall at the northeast corner of Kennedy Steeles and either go over or drive to Burger King Plaza (Gorvette Kennedy north of Steeles on the west side of Kennedy)."

"2017/02/06<br/ February 6th has a special meaning for us, so SWMBO and I decided to celebrate the occasion at Joey Markville. We showed up for our 6 pm reservation, were told that our table was ready, and we were promptly seated. Although the restaurant was moderately busy, we probably could have done without the reservation. <br/ <br/ We did have a primary server, but they definitely use a team approach, from taking drink orders, serving food, and clearing tables. The service this evening was top notch. <br/ <br/ After adult beverages, we then moved on to sharing the Pesto Shrimp Flatbread. It was served on a small breadboard, and cut into six pieces, making it easy to pick up each piece. The bread was a bit puffy and soft inside, topped with tender shrimp, pesto sauce, and mozzarella. There was also a healthy drizzle of chipotle aioli, to give each bite a pleasant kick. <br/ <br/ Next was our main course. SWMBO chose the Steak Frites (medium well please). The sirloin was lightly charred on the outside, tender and a bit pink on the inside, served with a dollop of parsley butter on top. Good fries and arugula salad rounded out the plate. <br/ <br/ I had the Steak Sushi. The sirloin was served tataki style, already thinly sliced. Each bite almost melted in my mouth. The sushi was 8 pieces of rainbow roll (ahi tuna, salmon, avocado on the outside, crab on the inside, topped with sriracha aioli) that was light and fresh. <br/ <br/ We still had a little bit of room, so we shared their Chocolate Lava Soufflé, which was served with a raspberry sauce, fresh raspberries, and a scoop of nitro vanilla ice cream. The souffle oozed warm, runny chocolate when we cut into it. Nice way to finish a meal."

"I was so excited to have dim sum classics again. The service was amazing so lovely and able to accommodate whatever we needed. The dumplings were great and the hot pot the server recommended was delicious! I loved the rice noodles the most and they did not disappoint. I think the prices and portion sizes are fair for what they offer."
