"Tried Golden Fry on a fluke because China Coast was closed again. Best choice ever! The food is fresh and never stale. Also very reasonably priced. I especially love they're open on Mondays"

"Had lunch here today. I tried the House special Noodle... Massive portion! Chock full of chicken, Bbq pork and shrimp. I asked for beef as well.. The flavours were good and not overly salty as you may find in some Chinese restaurants. I want to try more dishes but it's difficult as I do not live in the area. They have the Canadian style Chinese food and they also have a menu of authentic dishes. The couple that own this establishment are super nice and go out of their way for you. I hope the community will support them."

"We have ordered from the House of Chan on a number of occasions since it has open and was pleased with the food. Not so today. Firstly on my order slip was a charge for the containers, not much but still. I question the staff and was informed (with not much enthusiasm) that the containers were "good" containers. Okay so that is great but what am I supposed to do with them other than put them in the garbage as they are not even recyclable. Cardboard would have been better.We ordered Combos #1 and #3, What a bad decision, the egg rolls were spongy, tough and cold along with a soar taste. The Chicken fried rice (paid extra) was tasteless along with everything else in our order, Dry Garlic Spare Ribs, Chicken Chow Mein and Sweet and Sour Chicken. No taste other than a sour vinegar taste. And all was stone cold.I am not sure what happened to the quality, but my first warning sign should have been the extra charge for the containers.To the owners... come on, if business is so bad that you have to cut quality and charge for containers, then close the doors."
