"My friend, Mr. P, recommended the Korea House for dinner. He chooses this place as opposed to other nearby Korean BBQ places, as the Korea House lets you select from the menu what you want. Other places in the area, do not give this option – they will bring you their great first record that contains everything. As Mr P said, “I want to have my Beef Tongue first before I have to have the other stuff (that I don’t want to first)”. I think most non-Korean people like and/or accept that Korean BBQ SHOULD AYCE. Koreans would probably have the idea that people think that Korean cuisine is AYCE Korean BBQ and kimchi. Anyway, I know a pretty good Korean BBQ that's not good – like Sut Bull Jeep, Chosun, Honey Pig and DGM, but I'll save it later. For the longest time, and perhaps because I think Korean cuisine is not as tastefully diverse as Chinese, I could order better in Korea that I could in Chinese. Since I had several Korean friends and worked years ago in K city, I had learned how to order, in my humble opinion quite well. Chinese food on the other hand is more difficult, with the variety of food from various provinces. Whatever. As I mentioned earlier, Mr. P had to have this Beef Tongue. The thin cut beef tongue is desired by many Chinese, but not necessarily the non-Korean or the inexperienced. The beef tongue has similar texture to other parts of the cow, but is more evenly marbled with fat, offers great taste. Together with cattle tongue, we had spicy pigs, beef substitute ribs, soup and shrimp. I never had shrimps, nor a big fan of the cancer class. But this shrimp, marinated with ginger, was excellent. First, when you see the raw shrimps, still with the bowl, peeling makes it look a little intimidating. Work on the bowl – hot from the grill, was not funny at first. But after Mr. P disappeared his first 20, I decided to try a little one. It was really good. The ginger flavor kept it a little more than just savory, with a hint of sweetness coming through. Lucky for me, after my first, I could have the last couple. But as expected, as I left, I had embedded the stall of the restaurant in my clothes. But was it worth it?. Yeah."

"We come here any chance we have because they are the only ones that sell real orange green tea, not from orange syrup but from the orange that grows on trees. They also don't give u less tea because u order without ice (can't drink cold beverages sometimes, girls know what I mean). U can also adjust sweetness. Cash only!"

"3.5 Star Overall. 1 Star. CASH ONLY. Seriously. I had to empty out my wallet and calculate my purchases carefully to make sure I have enough cash to dine. I'm left with $4 plus some odd coins, forcing me to make a trip to the bank to replenish the wallet. Would have ordered a lot more if they accept credit cards. Not many cash only places still exist around here. Many were busted for tax evasion...I hope they don't fall into this category. The owner has no intention to opt for credit cards anytime soon, as confirmed when I asked. I haven't had to check my wallet like this in over a decade...hate this feeling. 4 Star. Food. $9.25 Ground Pork Noodle Soup with Popcorn Chicken Combo. Good price for a fairly large portion of both soup and popcorn chicken. The soup was not overly salted which I appreciate, so I can eat it with other salty stuff. The kids don't see to care much for the food. $6.50 Fried Stinky Tofu. Very stinky. Good flavor. Not the best I've had but good enough to suffice. Topped with plenty of Taiwanese Kimchi. $2.95 Taiwanese Kimchi. Ordered a side item in case I needed more. Also not the best I've had. Passable. 2.75 Star. Shaved Snow. $8.75 Milk Snow topped with condensed milk, mochi, honey boba, taro, and caramel egg pudding. Loved the milk snow (5 star), definitely way better than regular shaved ice. However, the honey boba (1 star) was undercooked and hard (not going down well, shouldn't have ordered it), the taro (0 star) tastes gross and unsweetened, and we only found about 4 pieces of mochi (3 star). I've never not like the taros I've ordered in any dish. It's sad I had to experience this. What a way to ruin a meal. 4.5 Star. Interior Decor. Brought back memories of my childhood days in Taiwan. Those exact same elementary school chairs, the exact same red plastic piggy bank I used to have as a kid. Right on. Hard to stretch your legs under the table now as an adult. So, forced to sit properly. 3.5 Star. Overall. Regardless of the less than acceptable rating, I would return next time to try other items on the menu, get the shaved snow again but with different toppings granted I happen to pass by and I happen to have a load of cash in my wallet, which is not often (I hate cash). Owner I know cash is convenient for you, but it's extremely inconvenient for customers or potential customers. It's okay. I know you're literally loaded with cash so it doesn't itch weeding out a few people like me. I respect that."

"Tan Cang Seafood. I 'd been hearing good things about the lobster and because we had graduations to celebrate, we tried a fixed menu set and also the House Special Lobster at Tan Cang Newport Seafood Rowland Heights. We arrived on a weekend around 6 and before the biggest crowds. Our party of 8 was seated after a half hour wait but unfortunately the table was too small for the party and the large number of dishes resulted in some spillage as the 'lazy susan ' was spun. The lobster was spectacular to look at and delicious. I 've never paid $105 for one plate of food before but it was memorable. Very good were clams with basil, pea shoots, steamed tilapia (I never thought a delicate and light flavor could be coaxed from this fish), salt and pepper shrimp. The kung pao chicken was okay and house seafood soup was so-so. They had a line of hungry patrons at the door and the waiters seemed to be watching us closely hoping we would leave sooner rather than later."

"We went there the first time last night, we really liked it, will come again, but make sure don’t order too much at the beginning because you can always order more later if you feel like it, it’s really good tho, but I will choose non-spicy next time because it’s spicy to us. They are very nice and friendly."
