"Visited this little gem on recommendation so glad we did, food is great, very reasonable prices and staff provided excellent service and were super friendly. "Rude customer service in the cafe. 4 of us entered the cafe today 19th June at around 2.45 A couple of people were already at the till area with a tray of tea coffee but were told there was no breakfast available so they left unhappy. The lady said they were clearing up ready for closing and that there wasn’t much left in the way of hot food. But I think the tone in which it was said was what made them leave. We asked if there was and pie left and she said yes. We asked if we could have it with chips instead of the mash and she said yes. We also ordered a baked potato and a tea and coffee. We sat down and waited. A young man brought the food over and the pie was served with mash. We pointed out that we had asked for chips and he apologised and quickly changed it. We were then happily eating our food when an elderly lady member of staff took it upon herself to come over and interrupt our dinner by saying. Erm I just wanted you to know that the pie is usually served with mash and if you had asked for chips when you ordered it we would have changed it for you. I said we did and it’s even on the receipt she said did you. I said yes. Then she walked away and with her back to us sarcastically said I hope you enjoy it. Absolutely disgusted by her attitude and to be honest she was very lucky not to be wearing my dinner. Usually before we leave a table we would tidy the table up but on this occasion we didn’t. Fortunately we are only on holiday here so don’t have to visit this store again. Absolutely shocking behaviour."

"Sunday lunch is really good value for money and lovely, we had a choice of lamb in with the meat options which most places do not offer. Everything was cooked to perfection. The stuffing was really nice too not rock hard or dry like some places. Well worth a visit , we were very impressed could not fault it. We will return and take others with us."

"Last couple of visits I’ve given 3 stars, much better this time round. Salt pepper ribs, good size portion plenty of meat on the ribs, seasoning spot on. Crispy chilli steak fried rice, excellent. Glad to see it’s improved as we do struggle to find a good Chinese in Garstang, on the back of this visit, we will be back!"
