"Everything was delicious, but I tend to judge places off of their coleslaw which so many places can't do well. Hands down, best coleslaw I've ever had came from Mary Ellen's."

"We stopped for a Brews and Bees event over the weekend. Unfortunately, it was 100+ degrees outside. They moved the event indoors, but the place was so packed, the AC couldn't keep up, and the actual event was in a non-air conditioned room (they had the garage doors propped up). Everyone made the best of it; you know midwesterners, we won't let bad weather stop us--if we did, we would never leave the house! Because of the heat, we did get to go in that back area where the event was that's typically employees only. We got to see the bottling line and all sorts of brewing equipment. It was pretty neat! There were honey samples, tacos, free wildflower seeds, and all sorts of information on how you can help save the bees. The beer itself was pretty good, especially in the heat--cool and refreshing. You can't have beer without the bees!"
