"La Tortilleria du Marche is a restaurant/small grocery/tacos maker...We passed infront several times and from the outside look, we thought that they were only selling pinatas... but the restaurant is way in the back.So first time we went there, took a small soup (very good and tasty), 2 specialties (the tacos were yummy and pambazo was average), another plate of tacos (beef&pineaple, also very good) and a pint of Horchata (average). Nonetheless, we came back a second time and tried 2 specialties (the same tacos again, but this time it wasn't good, 2nd plate was below average) and a pint of Horchata (this time, it was much more tastefull and better than the 1st time.Overall, we think quality of served dishes are not consistent enough... I don't think I'll come back..."

"If you are looking for authentic Salvadorean food, go here. I lived a few years in El Salvador and the pupusas tasted exactly as they tasted in El Salvador. Service is very good, simple but beautiful place. Drink are ok, even if cocktails are made of fresh fruit (pina colada) in my opinion I've tried much better. Just be careful when you order sometimes they make mistakes and they dont bring you what you ordered (pupusas) and it takes a little while to get your order. But overall I still recommend it"

"We went there for a end-of-summer lab lunch on Aug 25. We were 13 people. We were on the terrace, which is very nice. The service was great, very efficient and the waiter was friendly. We all tried pupusas, as was recommended by one of...our students who knew the place. I had 2 bean and cheese and one pork. Delicious. Served with coleslaw and some sort of tomato sauce, both bringing some taste and kick to the pupusas. These are big. 2 were enough for me, I brought the third one in a doggy bag. Some of the other people I was with took trios of pupusas and other food items. The nachos looked delicious, the tortilla soup smelled amazing as so did the fried plantain. We all loved the food. I definitely want to go back there with my husband. I went inside to use the restroom. The restaurant looks very nice and clean and inside, and so are the restrooms."

"Excellent authentic tacos.It's always a pleasure to come and eat there.Los suaderos and the pastor con quesos are amazing.Perfect place for a diner with friends, family, or a cute date.Just a few minutes of the Metro Mont-Royal on St-Denis Street. Right on the REV bicycle path."

"Small restaurant that is very family oriented. We ordered the fish, and nopales tacos. Very tasty. The tortilla soup I found was disappointing as it was on the spicy side with little substance. The tortilla strips in the soup was crunchy."
