"Great service, very attentive staff and the restaurant is absolutely beautiful. I got the duck salad and the pigeon sheds that really arrived and the aromen were really good. the place is somewhat expensive (paid about 25 euro for salat and dumpling), but the ambiente and the beautiful interior make it worth it."

"I had dinner here one evening as I was in town on business. I had great memories of Mao in Chatham row. I had the chili squid to start and it was disappointing. The batter was not up to previous standards and overall the dish was bland. The main course was worse. I ordered the nasi goreng which is a spicy fried rice dish with chicken and shrimp. Mainly it was rice and more rice as the chicken and shrimp were in short supply. Overall it was poor and a big drop in standards from my previous visits to other Mao restaurants."

"Having lived in Asia for I know how authentic Asian food feels. I was very happy to find this place in Dublin which made my tastebuds happy too. Too bad we were hungry and didn’t click any photos. My favourite was the chongquing spicy chicken which was perfectly crispy and spicy. The wontons in the Chili garlic sauce was also great. For the main course we order duck in hot spicy sauce. I would surely visit again and try rest of their dishes "

"Really great Chinese food, quickly delivered, cheap and really delicious. the personal was also very nice. I can absolutely recommend the rainbow beef here, but not really the hot and supp acide, which does not really taste like a hot acid soupe. still eating was great. everyone has another recipe for special eating, so its fine for me with the suppe. I recommend eating here."

"Comments from sam: I was really excited to eat some hunans after a trip to the province hunan in China 2 years ago. I was disappointed, my partner can cook tastier, spicier and more authentic Chinese cuisine than this it is an affordable restaurant, though, we ordered 5 dishes for 64 euro. I would not recommend hunans native, but for others it is good. overall as average experience."
