"The first is the family and the entire staff. Warm, welcoming and always professional since my first visit back a few years. And every dish I tried as I like to enjoy the menu is as good as the last; just some of the best Chinese (food) you could eat. Properly seasoned and always easily finished, great turns on some of the classics, and always made with the best ingredients. Not much more to say thank you and see you soon."

"This is one of my favorite restaurants in Montreal's "China-block-and-a-half". The food is fresh and "home cooked". The service is fast. And it is open late, very late. Big tables for big families and small tables for singles and couples. Try the salt and spicy shrimp. Also the hot and sour soup is a meal in itself. I'm making myself hungry by thinking about it."

"The service at the chinatown location was extremely slow, we had to wait over 30 mins to get our food and the place wasn't even that busy. I got the shrimp leak egg dumpling which weren't the best, for some reason they switched to disposable plates and their spring rolls were stale and did not taste fresh. This time was overall a disappointment."

"After years living in Côte-des-neiges, we finally went to this restaurant which was recommended in a book. The food is good, the variety is great and the staff friendly. As the place is spacious, it is a good fit for a large group of friends or family. The table d 'hôte is a great value as you get a soup (try the tum yum) , an egg roll, a tea, a mango salad and a main dish for less than 20$. The place is easy to miss walking by but once you find it you will definitely come back."

"The service in this place was quite disappointing, I came here with some of my friends around half an hour before closing time as we didn't have many other options available around us. The waiters all looked very annoyed and were just trying to get rid of us. Why even keep the restaurant open if you don't want customers after 10? We asked how the portions were and they made us believe that each plate was suitable for one person, but they were MUCH bigger. A lot of food went to waste... And the food itself was average, nothing special. I'm pretty indifferent. But their orange beef was pretty good. I can't complain."

"Recently I was invited by some friends to join them at the local Chinese Food restaurant. We found our way to Kam Shing and ordered the local fare. First we started with the WON TON soup for the table. Then we placed our order for thelobster Cantonese, Crispy Duck and beef with orange. All dishes were delicious and were shared.by everyone. The restaurant was clean and bright but the service was slow. Prices were reasonable. Parking available on the street. A place to go when your craving Chinese food."

"We visited this restaurant while we were looking for dim sum. While they don't do a dim sum, there's a lot to say for one thing really good to do, and the dumplings in Quing Hua were really excellent: tasty and the soup explodes in your mouth!...So the portions (15) are very generous make it excellent value and the service is friendly in clean and well maintained environment. Very recommended."

"Tuesday dinner was at Maison VIP. The outside of the restaurant could use some restoration, but the inside was ok. <br/ <br/ Yay! A restaurant that understands that single diners need to eat dinner too. Boo! The choice is limited to only one full course dinner. For $13.95 you get:<br/ Won Ton Soup<br/ Egg Roll<br/ Dry Spare Ribs<br/ Chicken Lo Mein<br/ Chicken Fried Rice<br/ Almond Cookie<br/ <br/ The quantity of the food was abundant, and I barely finished everything. While the food was ok, it was a bit too 'Canadian ' for my liking. If there is a next time, I would probably stay away from the fixed menu. <br/ <br/ Service was very good."
