"My family have been eating at Coral Court for 25+ years. When they were on Lonsdale. Tonight I was hungry, and didn't feel like cooking; decided I wanted Chinese. Wonton Soup, Lemon Chicken, Sweet n Sour pork, vegetable Chow Mein. The wonton soup lacked flavor, the vegetable Chow mien noodles were uncooked, The lemon Chicken was over cooked, and very dried out, and the sauce was bitter. I found the sour in the sweet n sour, but the Sweet was missing.."

"We recently ordered dinner to go from this restaurant, assuming it would be fine since it's been around for years. We were very disappointed with the quality of the food, specifically the ingredients. The lemon chicken was inedible and had to be discarded the...chicken was hard, dry and tasteless, the sauce was not lemony and congealed into a hard gel when cool. We were unable to chew part of the meat in the Ginger Beef because it was to tough. The Buddha's Feast was made mostly with mushrooms and baby bok choi, which we love, but did not have any tofu, which is how it's served elsewhere. Perhaps we were wrong to expect that; after all, we're not experts at Canadian Chinese cuisine..."

"Located beside a major food store (Save-On), one would not expect such a high quality, authentic Szechuan + restaurant in this place.But there it is, with nice new furnishings, pleasant decor and lighting, and two attentive front-of-house servers with good knowledge and pleasant disposition.Plus, the food excels. Spicy without being too scary for Occidental palates, with Cantonese dishes for those more comfortable with the likes of seafood chow mein...We had Szechuan prawns and a seafood rice noodle dish. A bit light on the vegetables, but good portions arrived almost instantaneously, which we demolished.The place was quiet mid-afternoon, but they do a solid takeout trade and already have a good regular clientele. Oh- the price. We went away having spent about $15/person for a hefty lunch with endless tea.I can't help but root for them- running an eatery is brutal, and they deserve to succeed. So get down there and try out the food. You'll be pleased you did."
