"A small restaurant in a small square suitable for picking up orders with about half dozen tables in a clean and bright room. for sitting you will find an extensive menu of classic Cantonese dishes: a bit sweet in most dishes...and not as oily as in the old days. for a large group, the service is quite fast ordered we in advance all 10 dishes came in short order: portions are cut, eating is acceptable. steamed turbot in soy sauce, sweet dish, scallop with broccoli and mushroom: chicken kung pao: sweet and acidic catastrophe."

"This is a longtime favourite restaurant of my family's in Ottawa. The food is pretty good by Ottawa standards. Our Peking duck was better than expected, although it did require quite a long wait. The restaurant got quite busy by around 12:30 on a Saturday. I would recommend this place if you're looking for some classic Chinese food."

"The first time I tried 'So Good ' it was more like 'so not good ' but after a few years, and seeing a facebook post about their salt and pepper tofu, I had to try it again. The restaurant is small, it has a home kitchen kind of feel to it and the menu is huge so many items to choose from what to choose? (Please don 't come here and order Vietnamese food though you can just cross that section out, so that narrows down your options;P). The salt and pepper tofu is quite good, it 's not very spicy, has just a little bit of spice, and it 's not over fried either so you can actually taste the tofu inside. What 's more is the food comes out in about 10 minutes and the service is quite efficient. So Good is not my first pick for a Chinese restaurant though, simply because there are many that are bigger and have the same quality/better food. For example today, I had the salt and pepper tofu from Ng 's Cuisine and they certainly outdid So Good. But it 's not so bad as I once thought it was."

"What an unexpected and wonderful experience, my friend and I had lunch today! we arrived shortly before the opening of the restaurants new queen Dine-In and Take-Out, just before lunch. we were inaugurated and sitting. noticing that we were undecided...as we studied the menu; he made some suggestions as he could possibly help. he told us that the majority of the articles Western Canadian Chinese foods were offered to their regular clientele! after I told him that I am a rather smoky eater, and there are certain sweetness that I should preferably not be present in my eating; the owner told us that he could change some of the dishes to our taste, replacing these special vegetables. we were not aware that these dishes were so big until he told us that we could keep it on 2 teller and it would be a lot for two adult men! he was not wrong, in fact there were enough food for a third person left! with the recommendations of the owner and the chef had a nice and pleasant meal. the Cantonese chow my and singapur noodle were perfect for our joy!"
