"Probably the newest Kirin in the lower mainland, this Kirin offers a modern updated look. Having frequent the downtown and Cambie locations, we were not disappointed on our first visit to this New West location. We went on a weekday for dim sum and the place was packed. If you have a special gathering, it is best to make a reservation. The prices and menu are the same as in the other locations, but the portions seem to be smaller. It took a long time for the food to come and the service was OK. There is plenty of parking in the Starlight casino lot and a few parking on the ramp to the parking lot."

"Nice popular place with ok service. We went at 11 and were seated quickly before it got busy. Ordered noodles and xlb and a sesame sandwich. All were fine just nothing we loved."

"Some of the best vegan fare on the planet! If you're looking for an inexpensive vegan buffet look no further because Veggie Bunch is the only one around. It's also one of the few vegan-Chinese restaurants around the Vancouver area. <br/ <br/ Veggie Bunch lives up to its name offering a variety of tasty, unique veggie dishes, tofu, and taro alongside the occasional gluten based faux meat. I really like this restaurant because if offers vegetable dishes and NOT just fake meats. <br/ <br/ Buddhist-Taiwanese with a usually quiet atmosphere. Bottomless tea, all you can eat, and there's even an ice-cream if you're in the mood for it. <br/ <br/ Highly recommended, especially if you like veggies.<br/ <br/ Generally closed on Tuesdays, we've made that mistake more than once..."

"Went here with a friend of mine and ordered several dishes. The place is very clean, which I like and the kitchen is fully visible. This place has a great inspection history so always on the top of our list. Food is always great, the soup dumplings are amazing. Will be back and will keep trying new items."

"We went to this place 2 times in 24 hours so we could try different things. The first time was about 4 p.m. on Saturday afternoon. This was a good time to come ahead of the dinner crowd. The place was not empty even then, but the service is better than if you show up when they are busy (which we did the next day). The xiao long bao is very good and worth going there for, as we went back for more the next day. Sunday lunch is dim sum time and it gets very crowded. If you don't want to wait, beat the crowd or make reservations. The dining area layout is tight, so expect to be close to other diners. And, as with many Asian restaurants, don't expect much from the service and you won't be disappointed. The food is pretty authentic and every thing we had was good. Maybe we hit Shanghai River on an off day a few months earlier, but this place is my choice. The rating is for the food. Being better than an average Asian restaurant on service would warrant an excellent rating."

"Hole in the wall, quick service style chinese food. Shareable sized plates. Curry was so good, not too spicy just the way i like it. Tofu and cod hot pot was en par to other ones I've had elsewhere. Everything was tasty. Warning: parking will be tight for large vehicles."

"This restaurant is attached to the Best Western Abercorn Hotel near YVR. The service was very good and the food choices were plentiful. Our food was simply put.."delicious"! We especially enjoyed the juicy pork buns! Prices were comparable to other nice restaurants in the area."
