"We came for lunch here as my mother and I had done often in the past.Kid had never had wonton soup before so urged her to try. She didn't like it. My spouse tasted it and said it was disgusting. Generally we aren't very picky. The menu has changed drastically there are many many items not generally seen on Canadian Chinese menus. The items that the rest of us picked out were edible.Don't really think we would go back."

"We have been ordering from shezwan for over 20 years. Today we received chicken balls the size of a quarter. When I called they said this is the new size. FYI before you order because you will not get anything like a chicken ball and no one interested in customer satisfaction. Very"

"Small but great.. Been a fan of this place since I first tried it with my father. Great fresh food everytime. Decor was a bit boring for a bit but they are doing some great changes and Its getting better everytime I'm in. Staff is almost like a family when you walk in the doors. This place is small and inexpensive but you won't leave hungry."

"My wife really wanted to check this place out as she had heard some good reviews. We stopped in for Spring Rolls and some Hot and Sour soup. It was in the evening and not too busy we placed our order and the food came out in good time. While the Spring Rolls were delicious the soup was nothing to write home about. During our meal I had to refill our water glasses as no one was there. Also went down to the bathroom in the basement and it was disgusting, dirty and gross, the stairways to get down there were also filthy, not impressed. They always say that if the bathrooms are dirty you know the kitchen is too, not good. My wife was not impressed at all and we won`t be returning."

"Just in town for a couple of days and saw this restaurant on 8th street. Ordered the B side Combo for 1. Should have asked a few more questions. The chow mein came with the large noodles - not a big fan - really couldn't eat them. Should have asked - my bad. And the egg roll was too greasy for me."
