"Sandwiches (brot) were dry and crusty, but some like the chicken were delicious. chocolate cake and lemon drops also very dry. scones were tasty and dryness was made better with cream and jam. cocktails were beautiful and unique. the service on our side was not amazing. had to stand up to ask someone to take a drink order and for the bill after trying to catch the server eye for 10 minutes each time. but they didn't rush us and we were there for a few hours. would return for their main dish, but probably not again for afternoon tea."

"The Bloomsbury Street Hotel is a lovely location, great looking hotel, fairly good service with pleasant facilities. However, the afternoon tea was only ok and the sandwiches did not seem as fresh as they could be. If they could get the food right, it would be great value."

"My tea cup was cracked, the food was placed down with absolutely no explanation, we had no clue what was in the sandwiches or what the cakes were. Staff never spoke, regents street shop was tired I think perhaps the staff were too. Overall disappointing."
