"Came here once for breakfast once for dinner while in the Gold Coast. For breakfast I got the 'pitaya smoothie bowl ' and the presentation was amazing perfect for photos. It also tasted really fresh fruity. For dinner I got the 'crispy chicken burger ' which was alright and then for dessert we got the 'apple pie fries ' the 'rich chocolate brownie ' which were the highlights of our meal. My family and I loved the desserts, they tasted so good. Recommend going here for breakfast for sure and dinner is alright but not amazing."

"We reserved online with Open Table Beware, the restaurant will likely NOT honour bookings made here. On arrival we were told that despite booking and confirming on OT, we were outside of their allowable booking deadline of noon and we were subsequently shamed for not knowing this was a policy (stated nowhere on Open Table not on their website . We were told “if you’re lucky we might have a table within and hour but once you get seated it will be a minimum of 50 mins for food”. After stating our displeasure the hostess offered for us to wait at the bar and the first round of drinks was on the house. Okay... so three people in our group of six tried to order cocktails and were abruptly told off by the bartender that those didn’t qualify for “free” drinks, and we were charged full price. (The other three were minors and ordering soda water so the math should have evened out! . We were eventually seated at a makeshift table on the side of a walkway. We tried to order two dishes on the menu and were told that they’d run out (the cheese plate being one of the items so some people just settled for second or third choice items. We ordered... then... never saw our server again. My husband eventually ordered another round of drinks at the bar and a side of chips which came within 5 mins. Meanwhile our dinner order took 90 minutes to arrive and even then, items were missing. After asking a random staff member to check, we eventually received the missing dishes. Overall this was a horrible experience and I’d recommend you avoid this spot at all costs. No one seems to give a whit at this disjointed, horrible “establishment”. You’ll regret your choice."

"Large small café in Surfers! Staff were all very friendly, polite and regularly checked to make sure everything was okay. The cakes and discs are excellent, they make this article themselves instead of ordering in so many cafes. The final result is a series of correct aromas and textures, probably the best I had in QLD. We had the coffee walnut, lemon and fig slices that I would recommend everything. Lemon Coconut was my personal favorite. Based on the service level and standard of food today I give this place 5 stars. I do not often give this review as I am difficult to please due to my own approval, and usually service standards in Gold Coast/Brisbane are chronically low. So if you're in the area, it's worth paying those guys a visit!"

"1. Gyros in Greece is pork.2. Never lamb. And if you want to "Americanize" it you mix it with Beef.3. There is no lettuce in pita gyro.3. Like regular Greeks we ordered pitas (wraps) with gyros and Kalamaki. One with no onions, one with no tzatziki, one with no fries and one with tomato and potatoes only. They managed to mix it up and bring it back and forth three four times. Every time I had to go in and explain.4. Overall it was tasty and relatively close to a Greek one. Of course it was 5 times more expensive than a souvlaki in Greece but its Surfers Paradise.5. I will go back since I want to support Greek restaurants even if they are not so Greek."
