"Came here for a nice lazy breakfast and was not disappointed. There was an odd smell around (not their fault), apart from that the atmosphere is very nice. The service was a little slow but attentive. The coffee is nice and strong with a Turkish kind of fell to it. The menu is simple but nice. My wife had the eggs benedict which she loved. I had the big breakfast which again was very nice and satisfying (a VERY generous serving of bacon - cooked perfectly as well), although some sourdough or something would have been nice. Perhaps the most pleasing thing was that without question the eggs were poached to perfection with super runny yolks. The menu was priced competitively and represented good quality and good value."

"Went on a recommendation from a friend and was blown away! Exceptional coffee using 'Uncle Joe's' coffee. Had 'chilli con carne' with baked eggs and goats cheese. Also some amazing home baked cakes etc that are all gluten free! Can't wait to go back to Brisbane to visit again!"

"Always go after Jamaica blue, where I'm ever to visit, was twice after carindale and twice the service was terrible. first, the selection of the morning food is very bad, ordered half a coffee and got full strength, they had run out. by erdbeersirup, the morning tea was served without knife to the skorn and also no serviette to butter. every time I have been there and handed over in my jamaika blue card at the ordering and payment, they swap it, but don't give the free coffee, although there is at least one or two for credit. just the worst jb I've ever been served."

"I believe that this café should be a new born baby in Mt Gravatt. Location is slightly disadvantage at the back of those shops facing Logan Road. However, if you are smart enough, the bonus is the ample parking in front of the café. Set-up shows the character of the café and my flat white came in with nice coffee art and lovely blue colour cup that refreshed my mind from late night due to gathering. Tried my first savoury crepe with ham & cheese. It was a good choice. The light yellowish colour of the crepe with a small mint leaf on the top kick-started my appetite. Taste was delicious with overall very fine texture. My gut feeling is that this café should have the potential due to the fact that you can feel the passions from the staff & owner. Cheer up!"

"Went for breakfast this morning for birthday celebrations to this quaint little cafe which is in the carport (hence the name) and front yard of a surburban home at Cannon Hill. The staff were very warm and friendly and the food was scrumptious. We tried the carport breakfast (a hit with the men), the mushroom bruschetta on turkish soft poached egg (devine) and the zuccini,corn"

"Busy but delivered service others have forgotten. Taking order was prompt and informative, order was read back to confirm and delivered swiftly. Atmosphere inside was just right. Follow up on keeping water glasses filled was excellent. Follow up during our visit was just right. Personally the food was so right for me - separated so that I could add components in the order and quantity that I like and the Turkish bread never went soggy. The 3 of us were so impressed we wanted to write a review. Typical of staff friendliness the owner gave advice on local shopping. "We will return with family and friends.""
