"I love dessert. Donuts are usually not my go to, but I was excited to try Duck Donuts. I liked the fact they are made fresh and you can pick your toppings. They smell delicious when your handed that box of hot freshly made donuts. Having gotten them in the late afternoon and not eating them until later was probably a mistake. The donut itself is a good basic donut. I had ordered some blueberry and they almost tasted like a blueberry cake donut I love. However, the ones I ordered covered in chocolate with toppings didn't make the grade. First, I do prefer chocolate on a chocolate donut. That aside, the chocolate toppings literally broke and crumbled from the top. A major disappointment for their pricey donuts. If I ever crave a donut again I'll stick to Hornbergers where I know they're amazing."
